Yonkers, NY—Friday, October 31, 2014—Halloween came early at Ridge Hill! Hundreds came out on Saturday to celebrate the lifestyle center's Second Annual HarvestFest, which featured an array of seasonal festivities for the entire family.
Yonkers Mayor Mike Spano was on hand to greet families at Fountain Plaza, where Ridge Hill artist-in-residence Kindo designed custom t-shirts and created—in real time—a chalk Harvest Mural to commemorate the day's events.

Kids were the focus of the fun and showed off their costumes at Ridge Hill’s center-wide trick-or-treating with decorated totes distributed by Wee Westchester! Other activities included a Whole Foods Market pumpkin painting booth, Guitar Center interactive drum circle, Pied Piper petting zoo and pony rides and more!
Fall outdoor enthusiasts were served by L.L. Bean, REI, and Orvis, which provided recreation and sporting goods demos.
Foodies in particular had something to celebrate. The Ridge Hill Harvest Market distributed traditional autumn treats, including apples, maple syrup, apple cider, and handmade doughnuts from a variety of local Hudson Valley farms, thanks to Ridge Hill's partnership with the FarmOn! Foundation.
Chefs from Ridge Hill restaurants were also on hand to provide sample treats. Participating restaurants included: Bonefish Grill, Cheesecake Factory, Texas de Brazil, and Lefteris Gyro. Frannie's Goodie Shop, Elevation Burger and Smoothie King provided free samples of Halloween-themed treats.
MakerBot also hosted a special “pop-up” event showcasing its innovative and industry-leading technology of 3-D printing..
