High-Tech Interactive Santa Visit (Scheduled by App!) DreamWorks Animation and Westchester’s Ridge Hill to Launch “North Pole Adventure” Attraction

DreamWorks CEO Jeffrey Katzenberg—and Shrek—kick-off this reinvention of the traditional shopping center Santa experience at first of 8 sites across the U.S.

WHAT:

This first-of-its-kind experience blends storytelling and cutting-edge technology—taking families on an interactive journey that starts with Shrek and ends with a personal visit with Santa!

Visuals will include an eye-popping 2,000sf holiday cottage featuring animated surfaces powered by more than 3.1 million pixels and surrounded by 15,000 animated LED lights.

DreamWorks CEO Jeffrey Katzenberg, Santa Claus and a seven-foot-tall Shrek will welcome pre-schoolers from the Boys and Girls Club of Northern Westchester as the first to experience this revolutionized and magical adventure to find Santa.

The Honor Choir from Yonkers’ Lincoln High School will entertain the crowd with holiday music.

A Toy Drive to benefit the Boys and Girls Club will take place at Westchester’s Ridge Hill throughout the holiday season.
